HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO LAUNCHES MUSIC FOR A MISSION
AT SOUNDWAVES POOLSIDE CONCERT SERIES
In their continued effort to support the local community, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino debuts its Music for a Mission nonprofit initiative during select performances at SOUNDWAVES poolside concert series this summer. Beginning Saturday, May 19, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will donate three cabanas during each show to nonprofits that support Southern Nevada. Each organization is encouraged to auction their cabanas off to raise funds or to give to donors, volunteers and staff as a token of appreciation. In addition to the three complimentary cabanas, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will provide all nonprofits with a beverage credit which can be used for bottle service, cocktails, water and more.

- Don Carlos & Friends – Saturday, May 19: Communities In Schools of Nevada Communities In Schools of Nevada (CISN) is the local affiliate of the nation’s leading dropout prevention organization and Nevada’s most effective intervention program. - Collective Soul – Friday, June 8: HELP of Southern Nevada
HELP of Southern Nevada assists over 100,000 low-income families and individuals to become more self-sufficient through direct services, trainings and referrals. Programs available include social services, weatherization, community alternative sentencing, work opportunities readiness center, holiday assistance, Nevada 2-1-1 call center and homeless and youth services. www.helpsonv.org
- The B-52s – Saturday, June 9: Shriners Hospitals for Children
Shriners Hospitals for Children is changing lives every day through innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research and outstanding medical education. The 22 hospitals in the United States, Canada and Mexico provide advanced care for children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. - Aaron Lewis – Friday, July 13: Opportunity Village
Opportunity Village serves people in the community with significant intellectual disabilities, enriching their lives and the lives of the families who love them. Opportunity Village is Nevada’s largest employer of people with disabilities and serves nearly 2,000 individuals annually, providing vocational training, employment, habilitation and social recreation programs and services that make their lives more productive and interesting.
- The Airborne Toxic Event – Friday, July 20: Golden Rainbow
Golden Rainbow provides housing and direct financial assistance to men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS. SOUNDWAVES poolside concert series returns for the summer to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
