HELP of Southern Nevada Launches Every $1 Counts “Dollars for Dining” Edition To Benefit Shannon West Homeless Youth Center, Aug. 8
As demand for assistance continues to rise, HELP of Southern Nevada is launching its “Every $1 Counts” campaign, Aug. 8 – Sept. 12. The second installment, “Dollars for Dining,” places a special focus on Shannon West Homeless Youth Center and the at-risk youth that are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The month-long campaign emphasizes that any donation, no matter the size, allows HELP of Southern Nevada to further its mission and alleviate hunger by providing three nutritious meals and two snacks to over 100 youth daily at the homeless youth center.
Friends, family and co-workers alike are encouraged to make a donation of any stature through the dedicated online portal HERE. To commemorate participants’ generous contributions, a golden plate will be displayed in Shannon West Homeless Youth Center’s dining room. The plate can be personalized to include a quote, a family name or words of encouragement as residents continue to become self-sufficient.
Spread the word and make a difference by tagging @HELPSONV on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and using hashtags #CareGiveHELP #EveryDollarCounts and #DollarsForDining on social media.
