Local Bands Perform on the Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer Stage
Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer at Excalibur Hotel & Casino welcomes the launch of “HomeGrown Wednesdays,” a live stage show that will feature the music of two local bands every Wednesday at 10 p.m., kicking off on Wednesday, May 9.
KOMP radio DJ Laurie Steele, local talent booker Michael Soli and famous rock ‘n’ roll photographer Robert Knight will host the weekly event, announcing favorites from Las Vegas’ talented local emerging bands and musical artists such as Holes in Heart and Slow to Surface. In addition, Steele will provide on-air giveaways to “HomeGrown Wednesdays” throughout the week to lucky listeners.
“HomeGrown Wednesdays” is an extension of Steele’s Sunday night radio program “HomeGrown,” a program that has showcased original Las Vegas bands for over a decade. In addition to live music, music fans will enjoy $5 wine and draft beer specials including Pabst Blue Ribbon, Lynyrd Skynyrd Lager and Shinerbock.
Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer serves mouthwatering ribs, brisket, chicken and more.
