Mondays Dark celebrates this past year’s 21 local charity partners and announces the 21 charity partners for 2021
Grab the champagne, settle in for an evening of entertainment and charitable celebration at the Philanthropic Event of the Year! Mondays Dark, the popular grassroots charitable movement celebrates Lucky Number Seven on Monday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. This virtual event is free to stream at MondaysDark.com and there are a limited number of VIP tickets available at The Space to enjoy the show live and in-person.
“To say 2020 has been challenging is an understatement, however, we continued the mission of raising $10,000 every two weeks for a local charity and it’s now time to celebrate the year we had,” said Mark Shunock, creator of Mondays Dark and founder of The Space. “We can’t wait to announce our 21 partners for 2021 and hopefully welcome people back to The Space again soon.”
Guests can enjoy a stellar night of entertainment from Vegas’ top entertainers and bid on luxurious live & silent auction items including art, show and concert tickets, dining packages, spa treatments, jewelry, and more. Beginning November 30th, online access for the auction will be available at MondaysDark.com or by texting MDLV to 76278.
While streaming is available online, The Space has limited seats available to be in the room where it happens. Tables of four are available for $400 and a socially-distanced single ticket is available for $100. Both VIP packages are available online. All current Nevada social distancing parameters and mask mandates will be enforced, all ongoing COVID-19 Nevada regulations are subject to change.
The lineup of entertainers for the event will be announced soon and the 2021 charity lineup will be announced during the anniversary event. The 2020 charity partners included Golden Rainbow, Junior League, Refuge for Women, A Public Fit, Dragon, Nevada Donor Network, The Actors Fund, Boys Town, REACH, Green Our Planet, Care Complex, Fearless Kind, Michael’s Angel Paws, Spectrum on Ice, Ashley Strong Foundation, Vegas Wish, Hookers for Jesus, Honor Flights of Southern Nevada, Blind Connect, The Animal Foundation, Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth.
Founder Mark Shunock, will once again host the Mondays Dark celebration he began back in 2013 while starring in the hit Broadway musical, “Rock of Ages.” During his time here, Shunock wanted to give back to Vegas and support local charities in the area. Enlisting some of his entertainer friends, Mondays Dark was born. Seven years in, Mondays Dark has been named “Best of the City” from Vegas Seven in 2014 and “Best of Vegas” from Las Vegas Weekly the following year. In addition, Shunock received the 2014 Angel Award for Cultural Advocate/Entertainer of the Year and recently won Best Philanthropist from “Best of Las Vegas” and the Las Vegas Review Journal and the Impact Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Las Vegas Chapter for Mondays Dark.
Currently, Shunock serves as the in-arena host for the Vegas Golden Knights and Ring Announcer for Top Rank Boxing on ESPN. Expect Shunock to make a return to the stage in 2021.

The Space is Vegas’ Community Driven, Charity Based Arts Complex consisting of a 3,000 square foot of raw performance/event space, Black Box Theatre, rehearsal studio, a podcast recording studio and a piano bar with unique views of The Strip.
