The Las Vegas Monorail, in conjunction with the LV Wedding Connection, will offer adventurous couples the chance to ride the rails to wedded bliss on Saturday, March 14 from 1 to 5 p.m. Brides- and grooms-to-be can receive a FREE wedding at the Monorail Marriage Madness pop-up wedding chapel, which will be located inside the SAHARA Monorail station with purchase of a monorail ticket.

“We’re hosting this event to showcase the fact the Monorail provides a flexible, unique event venue, capable of hosting special events of all kinds—whether aboard the trains or at our stations,” said Ingrid Reisman, vice president and chief marketing officer. “With our pop-up wedding offer, we look forward to surprising and delighting unsuspecting, spontaneous couples with the chance to make a memory of a lifetime during their Las Vegas visit.”

Licensed officiants will perform the weddings, which may include everything from vow renewals to commitment ceremonies and legally binding marriages for couples who have a valid Nevada marriage license; marriage licenses must be obtained prior to arrival.

For guests without proper wedding attire, an array of wedding accessories including veils, hats, bow ties and bouquets will be available. Additionally, a photographer will take photos to commemorate the event and couples will receive sweet treats, a champagne toast and a certificate of ceremony. All made possible by sponsors, including LV Wedding Connection, Sellers Creations, M Chef and Exclusive Chefs.
