UNLV Game Notes

♦  The Lady Rebels are looking to change their recent fortune in the conference tournament, as UNLV has fallen in the quarterfinal round in the past two seasons. The last win for UNLV in the MW Championships was a 25-point win over Utah State in the 2017 Quarterfinals.
♦  This is only the second time the Lady Rebels and the Spartans have met in the conference tournament. The first meeting was in the 2014 tournament, as the seventh-seed UNLV topped 10th-seed San Jose State 78-75 in the first round.
♦  That tournament meeting is also the only time the teams have met in the Thomas & Mack Center. All-time UNLV is 20-3 against the Spartans in Las Vegas.
♦  Senior Rodjanae Wade is having a tremendous final season for the Lady Rebels, as she currently ranks first in the nation in offensive rebounding (5.5 rpg) and is third in double-doubles (20), has tied the UNLV school season double-double record and needs one to tie the MW record.
♦  The 2019-20 UNLV Lady Rebel squad is one of the youngest and least experienced teams in the Mountain West this season after graduating four senior starters. UNLV has 10 underclassmen on this year’s squad, with seven freshmen and three sophomores, while the four-member senior class had a total of two career starts (as a Lady Rebel) entering the season.
