The UNLV men’s basketball team, winner of three straight games, four of its last five overall and eight of its last 10 at home, will host Boise State on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center for its regular-season home finale, which is also Senior Night.

All fans are encouraged to wear white to the game and the first 3,500 through the doors can pick up a free white t-shirt. Additionally, the free Runnin’ Rebel Fest will open at 6 p.m. near the Tark Statue and features music, games, food, drinks and more. Tickets to the game start at just $16 when purchased before the day of the game at UNLVtickets.com, by calling 702-739-FANS (3267) or by visiting the Thomas & Mack Center Box Office.

The Runnin’ Rebels are coming off their biggest road win in 29 years. UNLV ended then-No. 4 San Diego State’s perfect season on Saturday with a 66-63 victory in San Diego. It marked the highest-ranked team that UNLV has defeated in a true road game since No. 2 Arkansas in 1991. The Runnin’ Rebels blew out Colorado State, 80-56, last Tuesday, and won at New Mexico, 78-73, on Feb. 15.

Sophomore guard Bryce Hamilton and junior guard Amauri Hardy lead the Runnin’ Rebels (15-14, 10-6) in scoring, averaging 15.5 and 14.1 points per game, respectively. Hamilton was named Mountain West Player of the Week on Monday after recording double-doubles in his last two games. He has now scored in double figures in 16 straight contests and has tallied 23 or more points in six of his last 10 games. Junior forward Mbacke Diong is the team’s leading rebounder with 8.1 per contest (5th in MW). UNLV is under new leadership this year in head coach T.J. Otzelberger.

Boise State (19-10, 11-6) is in its 10th year under head coach Leon Rice. The Broncos have won three of their last four games and eight of their last 10. Derrick Alston leads the team in scoring with 17.8 ppg (3rd in MW), while RJ Williams is the leading rebounder with 8.4 rpg (4th in MW).

Boise State won the season’s first meeting between the two teams, 73-66, in Boise on Jan. 8.

Wednesday’s game will be televised by CBS Sports Network with Rich Waltz and Dan Dickau calling the action. Jon Sandler, former Runnin’ Rebel Curtis Terry and Steve Cofield (sideline reporter) will handle the UNLV radio call, which may be heard live on ESPN Radio 1100 in Las Vegas and online via the UNLVGameday App and TuneIn.
