The UNLV men’s basketball team will return home to the Thomas & Mack Center to host Colorado State on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m.

It will be Taco Tuesday at the Thomas & Mack Center with tacos available for just $2 at select concessions stands during the game. Tickets start at just $16 each when ordered in advance at UNLVtickets.com, by calling 702-739-FANS (3267) or at the Thomas & Mack Center Box Office.

The Runnin’ Rebels, who have won two of their last three games overall and seven of nine at home, are coming off of a 78-73 win over New Mexico at The Pit on Saturday. Prior to that, UNLV played in a program-record sixth overtime game of the season, falling to intrastate rival UNR, 82-79, on Feb. 12, after defeating Fresno State by a point, 68-67 on Feb. 8 on a last-second shot by sophomore guard Marvin Coleman.

Sophomore guard Bryce Hamilton and junior guard Amauri Hardy lead the Runnin’ Rebels (13-14, 8-6) in scoring, averaging 15.3 and 14.1 points per game, respectively. Hamilton has scored in double figures in 14 straight games and has tallied 23 or more in five of his last eight outings. Junior forward Mbacke Diong is the team’s leading rebounder with 8.2 per contest (4th in MW). UNLV is under new leadership this year in head coach T.J. Otzelberger.

Colorado State (18-9, 9-5) is in its second year under its head coach, Niko Medved. The Rams have won four of their last five and nine of 11.

CSU won the season’s first meeting between the two teams, 95-77, in Fort Collins on Feb. 1.

Tuesday’s game will be televised by CBS Sports Network with John Sadak and Michael O’Donnell calling the action. Jon Sandler, former Runnin’ Rebel Curtis Terry and Steve Cofield (sideline reporter) will handle the UNLV radio call, which may be heard live on ESPN Radio 1100 in Las Vegas and online via the UNLVGameday App and TuneIn.
