La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway This Valentine’s Day
Morton Group’s La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway at Wynn Las Vegas will serve a decadent Valentine’s Day dinner in the most romantic of settings, available from Friday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Feb. 16.
Amid romantic candlelight and views of the picturesque Wynn pool and gardens from La Cave’s new garden lounge and terrace, Executive Chef William DeMarco will serve an array of specialty dishes, available exclusively during Valentine’s Day weekend. Featured entrées include Maine lobster tail risotto, prepared with roasted tomatoes, sweet peas and fresh oregano, priced at $32; and a 6-ounce filet mignon, served Oscar-style with Alaskan king crab, accompanied by asparagus purée and tarragon bearnaise, priced at $34.
In addition, La Cave’s full menu of dishes will be available, including crab ravioli, accompanied by arugula and lemon butter, priced at $19; bone marrow, served with onion jam, chimichurri and a fresh baguette, priced at $17; wild salmon, complemented by corn purée and balsamic mushrooms; priced at $23; and beef filet crostini, topped with blue cheese fondue and truffle cream, priced at $26.
Specialty cocktails for the holiday will include the Cupid’s Kiss, prepared with Effen Rose vodka, lychee puree, lemon, topped with lychee garnish, priced at $17; and the Red Roses, Red Roses, prepared with Knob Creek rye whiskey, yellow chartreuse and Graham’s 2012 Late Bottle Vintage Port, garnished with orange peel, priced at $17. La Cave’s sommelier-selected collection of 350 wines by the bottle, including more than 50 by the glass, will also be available to toast to the romantic evening.
