DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS EVENTS CENTER TO HOST A WEEKEND OF WATCH PARTIES, NOVEMBER 9 & 10
Venue to transform into massive tailgate celebrations for Vegas Golden Knights games and Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions football showdown
Sports fans are set to take over Las Vegas with Downtown Las Vegas Events Center’s weekend of viewing parties on Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10. The venue will welcome fans of all kinds as the Vegas Golden Knights (VGK) take on the Washington Capitals on Friday and the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday. The venue will also host an action-packed day of Sunday morning football as the Chicago Bears go head-to-head against the Detroit Lions.
Doors for Saturday’s hockey festivities will open at 3 p.m., with puck drop taking place at 4 p.m. As the official VGK Watch Party, fans will have the chance to enjoy exclusive activations and merchandise all afternoon.
Doors for Sunday’s football watch party open at 9 a.m. and will remain open through the VGK game set to begin at 2 p.m.
Fans can catch every moment of gameplay on the venue’s 72 feet of HD LED screen and booming stadium sound system. The celebratory watch party will be loaded with delicious food and fun activations, including:
- On-site culinary stations offering tasty bites throughout the event
- Free outdoor games, including corn hole stations and beer pong
- A variety of game-day beverage selections
- Live DJ entertainment to keep the fun going all afternoon
All events are free and open to fans of all ages. Both Vegas Golden Knights watch parties will begin at puck drop and continue until the end of the game. All seating for the event will be based on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Guests looking to up the ante and kick back like an MVP can rent a private Man Cave and catch the game with up to 20 of their friends. The private viewing areas include a 70-inch HD LED TV, personal beer pong table and corn hole area, two plush leather couches to lounge on and a clear view of the 72 feet of screen outside. The Man Caves can be reserved for a $25 food and beverage minimum.
