Reflection Bay Golf Club Hosts Audi Henderson Lake Las Vegas Classic
Tournament and Dinner to Benefit Keep Memory Alive
On Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2, Reflection Bay Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas Resort will host the 2019 Audi Henderson Lake Las Vegas Classic to benefit Keep Memory Alive. Weekend festivities include a double shotgun scramble golf tournament, as well as a silent auction and culinary feast, featuring foods prepared by top Las Vegas chefs.
Golf enthusiasts are invited to play for charity at Reflection Bay’s award-winning golf course, designed by world-renowned course designer, Jack Nicklaus. Included in the round of golf is a continental breakfast for the morning rounds and a barbecue lunch in the afternoon, prepared by local chef Scott Commings of Reflection Bay. Those interested can register teams of four in the Gross & Net Division of the nonprofit tournament.
“This is the third year we have hosted this tournament and it is one of our most popular tournaments of the year,” said Eric Dutt, Reflection Bay Golf Club’s manager of operations.
In the evening, registered golfers, event sponsors and guests are invited to enjoy a Welcome Reception overlooking the lake at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa. The gathering will feature a selection of drinks, appetizers and a live performance by Patrick Sieben. Patrick Sieben is an Emmy Award winning singer and songwriter and his band, Patrick Sieben & The LVB is the resident act at Mandalay Bay and Aria Resort on the Las Vegas Strip.
Saturday evening’s event will include a silent auction to benefit Keep Memory Alive, a nonprofit organization that aims to increase awareness and raise funds for the research, diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders. Dozens of the top local and regional chefs and restaurants will be offering cuisine throughout the evening, including The Capital Grille, Zenshin Asian Restaurant, Texas de Brazil, Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar, STK Las Vegas, Foundation Room Las Vegas, Grape Street Wine Bar, Marssa Steak & Sushi, Topgolf Las Vegas and more. Guests will also have the opportunity to taste an array of cocktails and beers poured by local wineries and breweries.
“This event has been widely popular ever since we brought it to Reflection Bay three years ago,” tournament director Ryan Chackel said. “We’re looking forward to a night of great local cuisine and giving back to an amazing nonprofit organization.”
