Unbroken World Tour with special guest Jack Russell’s Great White
Venue: Sandbar Poolside Stage
Genre: Rock
Date: Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 7 p.m.
Ticket Prices: $25 plus applicable fees for general admission and $50 plus applicable fees for VIP standing room only
Artist Info: As a rock star, reality star, spokesperson, businessman, and philanthropist, Bret Michaels does more jobs in a single day than most people do in an entire lifetime. Depending on the hour of the day, he’s a cultural icon, a rock god, an entrepreneur, a TV star, a father, the face of the American Diabetes Association, a supercross enthusiast, solo artist, Poison front man, and a generous donor to a myriad of charitable causes. Michaels first rose to fame as the front man of Poison. As one of rock’s most iconic and enduring bands, Poison defined the fast, gritty, and glamorous rock ‘n roll scene. Since the band’s beginning, Poison has achieved massive success- releasing eight studio albums, four live albums, and selling more than 30 million records worldwide and 16.5 million records in the U.S. alone. The band has charted 10 singles in the Top 40 on Billboard’s Hot 100 including the number-one single, “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn.” Twenty-five years after their debut, Poison is still recording music and performing together.
Bret Michaels’ solo career has been equally successful with his hit solo album Custom Built, which was released in July of 2010 and topped the charts, reaching #1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock list. Michaels continues to stretch himself and challenge himself to take on new projects in music, business, and beyond. He recently partnered with legendary guitar company, Dean Guitars, to design his first ever signature Bret Michaels series. Michaels calls Dean Guitars “the only guitars that can keep up with me, holding up tour after tour.”
Jack Russell’s Great White represents the next phase of a legacy. Rather than look backwards and merely attempt to relive the multi-platinum hard rock entity’s storied origins, Jack Russell set his sights on the future. In December 2011, Jack Russell’s Great White first bared its teeth. Since its inception, the front man welcomed back longtime bassist and friend Tony Montana—this time as a guitar player and keyboardist—lead guitarist Robby Lochner, and drummer Dicki Fliszar. In 1984, the band broke out of the Los Angeles scene with its self-titled debut followed by seismic platinum-selling outings such as 1987’s Once Bitten and 1989’s Twice Shy. Moving more than eight million copies worldwide, they stood out as tried-and-true rock stalwarts into the 21st century until 2011, when Russell went on to form Jack Russell’s Great White.

SUNSET STATION
John Conlee
Venue: Club Madrid
Genre: Classic Country
Date: Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 8 p.m.
Ticket Prices: $25, $35 and $45 plus applicable fees
Artist Info: One of the most respected vocalists to emerge during the urban cowboy era, John Conlee was known for his superb taste in material and his distinctively melancholy voice. Conlee was born and raised on a tobacco farm in Versailles, KY, in 1946, and took up the guitar as a child, performing on local radio at age 10. He went on to sing with the town barbershop chorus, but didn’t initially pursue music as a career, instead becoming a licensed mortician. He also worked as a disc jockey at numerous area radio stations and made important industry connections via that area when he moved to Nashville in 1971. Five years later, Conlee’s demo tape got him a contract with ABC. He released a few singles, but didn’t find acceptance until 1978’s “Rose Colored Glasses,” a song he’d co-written with a newsman at his radio station, rocketed into the country Top Five. Conlee spent the next decade or so scoring hit after hit, nearly all of them helmed by producer Bud Logan. He had two number ones in 1979 alone – “Lady Lay Down” and “Backside of Thirty” — and four number two hits through 1981, which included “Before My Time,” “Friday Night Blues,” “She Can’t Say That Anymore,” and “Miss Emily’s Picture.” Conlee returned to the top of the charts three times over 1983-1984 with “Common Man,” “I’m Only in It for the Love” and “In My Eyes,” and had his last number one in 1986 with “Got My Heart Set on You.”
All told, Conlee made the Top Ten 19 times through 1987, when he moved from MCA to Columbia and reached the Top Five with “Domestic Life.” Never much for touring, Conlee subsequently curtailed his recording activities as well, instead devoting his time to charity work (often on behalf of American farmers), raising his family, and running his own farm outside Nashville.

Berlin Featuring Terri Nunn
40th Anniversary Tour
Venue: Club Madrid
Genre: Rock
Date: Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 8 p.m.
Ticket Prices: $30 plus applicable fees
Artist Info: BERLIN will forever be recognized as the American progenitor of electro-pop artistry with sensually appealing lyrics. Few bands emerging from the era of BERLIN have achieved as far-reaching and long-lasting an impact and, rarely, such a timeless array of musical grooves. The Los Angeles-based band made its first national impression with the provocative single “Sex (I’m A…)” from the platinum-selling debut EP Pleasure Victim in 1982. “The Metro” and “No More Words” were also chart toppers, but it was the unforgettable, intimate, and strikingly beautiful love song, “Take My Breath Away” that took the band to another level. The ballad’s defining role in the Tom Cruise film, Top Gun, helped solidify BERLIN’s everlasting place in American pop-culture. The song was a #1 international hit and received both the Golden Globe and Academy Award for “Best Original Song” in 1986.
The band released its seventh studio album, Animal, in 2013. The album explored contemporary electronic dance music, while remaining true to the groundbreaking sound and Nunn’s signature vocals that continue to define BERLIN. The band’s first full length LP, Love Life, hit in 1984 and was certified gold. In 1986, BERLIN topped the charts with the unforgettable, intimate and strikingly beautiful love song, “Take My Breath Away.” The ballad’s defining role in the Tom Cruise film Top Gun has also helped solidify BERLIN’s everlasting place in American pop-culture. Nunn’s ongoing influence earned her the #11 spot on VH1.com’s “100 Greatest Women in Rock,” while, as an actress, she played leading roles in films including Katie: Portrait of a Centerfold with Kim Basinger, and Thank God It’s Friday with Jeff Goldblum and Debra Winger.
Currently, Nunn is recording a brand new BERLIN studio album with her original BERLIN band members and co-writers, John Crawford (bass) and David Diamond (keyboards). The album is scheduled for release in mid-2019. The album is being produced by Australian producers Andy and Thom Mak. The album marks the first collaboration by Nunn, Crawford and Diamond since Love Life, the third BERLIN album, released in 1984.
BERLIN’s discography has yielded 12 gold and platinum album awards. The band—founded by Nunn, bassist John Crawford, and keyboard player David Diamond—made its everlasting place in American pop-culture. Along with comedienne, Wendy Liebman, Nunn also previously hosted the critically-acclaimed radio show Unbound with Terri Nunn on 88.5 FM KCSN Los Angeles.

Dee is a radio personality, television host, author, screenplay writer, actor, and most of all he is a doting husband of 27 years, and father of four children. In radio, Dee begins his eighth year hosting the nationally-syndicated “House of Hair.” The weekly show is heard in more than 175 markets across the country. Never setting limits, Dee wrote, produced, and acted in “Dee Snider’s Strangeland.” This horror flick immediately struck a resonant chord with a legion of horror fans, elevating the movie to one of the most rented movies in its class. But don’t think music is in Dee’s past. While he recently reunited with his original Twisted Sister mates, he keeps creating. His latest creation Van Helsing’s Curse is an 18 piece rock orchestra that mixes everything from Black Sabbath to Beethoven. Set to a spooky story line, written and narrated by Snider himself, Van Helsing’s Curse has been hailed by critics as the new soundtrack for Halloween.
Dokken is an American heavy metal and hard rock band formed in 1978. They split up in 1989 but reformed four years later. The group accumulated numerous charting singles, has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and was nominated for a GRAMMY Award in 1989. After success with their debut album Breaking the Chains, the band released three consecutive platinum-selling albums, including 1984’s Tooth and Nail, 1985’s Under Lock and Key and 1987’s Back for the Attack. The band’s success continued into the 2000s, with their most recent release, 2018’s Return to the East Live.
L.A. Guns was formed in 1986 and signed with Polygram Records in 1987, recording their first album that summer. This first album, titled L.A. Guns, went on to sell more than 750,000 copies and earned the band its first gold album. Tours with AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Def Leppard followed. A compilation of the videos made from this first album also earned the band a gold video award. L.A. Guns went into the studio to record their second album, Cocked and Loaded, in the spring of 1989. It was a hit right away with the release of “Rip and Tear” as the first single and video. “Never Enough” and “The Ballad of Jayne” followed, pushing album sales over 1,000,000 and earning the band its first platinum record. The band’s third album, Hollywood Vampires, was recorded in the fall of 1990. With the release of “Kiss My Love Goodbye” as the first single and video, and another successful world tour, the album went on to sell 700,000 copies and earned the band its third consecutive gold album. With more than 30 years’ worth of noteworthy material, the band have proved to be true warriors of the 80s genre and are geared to tear it up across the world giving audiences the high octane rock ‘n roll that is L.A. Guns.

They were all cut from the worn denim of blue collar towns and paid musical dues playing dive bars and juke joints. What you hear is the musical truth. What you see is the embodiment of friendship and what you feel is the “spiritual healing” that can only be supplied by a great rock n roll band. Performing songs spanning the nearly five decades of Bruce Springsteen’s catalogue, they deliver each song with the same power, heart, and soul as Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band.
