5th annual “St. Jude Against All Odds” poker tournament on March 2 to benefit children
battling cancer, other life-threatening diseases at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®
The fifth annual “St. Jude Against All Odds” charity poker tournament will take place at 5p.m. on Saturday, March 2, in the Charleston Ballroom located at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The event raises awareness and funding for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Events like this help ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
There will be a red carpet welcome, cocktail reception, dinner, both silent and live auctions, poker and stand-up comedy performed by Clayton Fletcher.
The tournament founder and co-chair is six-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu. Event sponsors include The Revolution FMO, LLC, Charity Series of Poker, Freedom Dream Team, Shift4 Corporation and Poker Central.
“Knowing St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital welcomes kids from anywhere is such a blessing to us all, so I hope the Las Vegas community will join me in the fight to end childhood cancer,” said presenting sponsor Mark Lindsey. “St. Jude gives me hope because it won’t stop until no child dies from cancer. All children deserve a chance to live long, healthy lives, pursuing dreams that will change the world as we know it.”
Tournament buy-in, including dinner, is $500 per person and tickets to the cocktail reception and dinner only, are $300 per person. Players in the poker tournament will be competing to secure a $10,000 seat to the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event, as well four center-ice tickets to a Golden Knights game with Daniel Negreanu, or a luxury leather bag from MontBlanc.
