Mrs. South West Globe is Crowned!
Cheryl Prater of Las Vegas, Nevada was crowned Mrs. South West Globe. As the new Mrs. South West Globe, Prater will represent Mrs. South West at the next Ms. U.S.of A. Globe contest,being held August 11 –19th, Rancho Mirage, California. If selected Ms. U.S.of A, Prater will represent the United States of America at the international 2013 Mrs. Globe®.
The Ms. U.S. Globe contest is more than just a pageant. It is a fund-raiser for the Women In Need Foundation, a non-profit counseling and educational outreach for women and children faced with abuse. As Mrs. South West Globe, Prater is now the official state spokesperson for the W.I.N. Foundation.
As the state spokes person for W.I.N. the new Mrs. South West Globe plans on using her Mrs. South West win to contine bringing the message of hope and healing of W.I.N. Says the new winner, “Abuse is one of the worst kept secrets. It affects twice as many women as does breast cancer. As the new Mrs. South West Globe, I hope to share the message that abuse is not a disease, but a learned behavior, therefore the power to heal is within our reach.”
Mrs. Globe pageant is the only authentic pageant that offers misses the opportunity to compete at an international pageant every year. Over 40 Misses representing their respective countries will be at the two hour live telecast. Mrs. Globe® will air to over 35 countries across the world.
