The Las Vegas 51s PROFESSIONAL baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, will open a seven-game homestand against the Tacoma Rainiers, Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, on Tuesday, August 28. The season-ending homestand will mark the final games in Cashman Field history for Triple-A professional baseball. Las Vegas will host Tacoma in a three-game series through Thursday, August 30 and a four-game series against the Sacramento River Cats, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, from Friday-Monday, August 31 – September 3.  All games are at 7:05 p.m. except for Labor Day at 12:05 p.m.

The 51s, under manager Tony DeFrancesco, are concluding the final road trip of the season on Monday evening in Northern California against Sacramento.

The 51s organization have the proud distinction of being the longest enduring franchise in the history of professional sports in the state of Nevada.

            2018 CASHMAN FIELD ATTENDANCE: In 63 dates, Las Vegas total is 288,415 for an average of 4,578. The season-high crowd is 9,321 vs. Salt Lake on July 3 for the Fireworks Extravaganza!  The Las Vegas franchise is 11,585 fans away from reaching the 300,000 mark in “home” attendance for the 36th consecutive season (1983-2018). The all-time attendance total now stands at 11,957,202.

            Budweiser Dollar Beer Night, presented by Laughlin, will be featured in the finale of the three-game series against Tacoma on Thursday, August 30.  Dollar Beer Night is featured at every Thursday home game during the 2018 season.  Proper identification and wristbands are required for dollar beer night.

 

A spectacular post-game Fireworks Show, presented by Findlay Toyota, will be featured in the opener of the four-game series against Sacramento on Friday, August 31.

 

HOMETOWN HEROES NIGHT – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1

Fan Appreciation Night and Vegas Golden Knights Baseball Jersey Night, to the first 2,500 fans through the gates, will be featured on Hometown Heroes Night in game two of the four-game series vs. the River Cats.

This year’s Hometown Heroes Night will be dedicated to the heroes and victims of October 1.

The 51s will host a preliminary GUNS AND HOSES SOFTBALL GAME at 5 p.m., pitting local police agencies against local firefighters. All ticket holders will be able to come inside and watch the first responder showdown, and then stay for the rest of the festivities.

At 5 p.m., there will be a static display of emergency service and patrol vehicles parked in front of Cashman Field for attendees to tour and learn about the types of vehicles and technology used to keep our community safe.

The 51s organization will conduct a special pre-game ceremony dedicated to recognize, support and to thank our emergency service providers including the police, fire and emergency medical providers of Southern Nev

The “Color Guard Ceremony” will feature members of the Police and Fire Departments and including ceremonial first pitches for individuals who will be honored for their acts of heroism.

Individual police officers, firefighters and emergency personnel who have dedicated their lives to helping others will be acknowledged during the pre-game ceremony.

The 51s will have a special “thank you” announcement for the families of our local Hometown Heroes.

WestStar Credit Union “Winning Wednesday” will be featured SEVEN times during the 2018 season. The final date is August 29 vs. Tacoma.

If the 51s WIN, fans can redeem their tickets for a future Sunday through Monday “home” game.  In addition, each “WestStar Winning Wednesday,” one lucky fan will also be randomly selected to be the WestStar Winner of the Game! The winning fan will receive an autographed baseball from a 51s player, a seat upgrade for their group, and the opportunity to become the guest PA announcer for a half-inning that night!

The Annual Las Vegas Fire vs. Police Charity Baseball Game will be played on Sunday, September 2 at 1 p.m. The tickets are $15 and will include the 7:05 p.m. game between the 51s/Sacramento.

            Smith’s Value Menu Monday will be presented in the 2018 season finale on Labor Day (September 3). Monday “home” games feature a “Value Menu” for the 10th straight season!  The 51s and Centerplate have teamed together for discounted food items on Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Peanuts, Cracker Jack, Pretzels and Churros for just $1.00 per item.           

The 51s will broadcast all games on Lotus Broadcasting on NBC Sports Radio AM 920 ‘THE GAME’, which will carry live all 140 regular season games. Tickets for all 51s home games can be purchased at the SCE Federal Credit Union Box Office at Cashman Field. The box office is open Monday-Friday (non-game days) from Noon to 4:30 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased through Ticketmaster (1-800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com).

The individual game tickets for the 70-game home season are priced at $11.00 (reserved, $12.00-Day of Game); $14.00 (plaza, $15.00-Day of Game) and $17.00 (field, $18.00-Day of Game) & the blue dugout seats at $30.00 ($35-Day of Game).  The traditional $2.00 discount for Military personnel is offered on plaza, field and reserved seats throughout the season.

 

            LAS VEGAS BALLPARK 2019 SEASON TICKET DEPOSITS:

Fans can reserve their spot in the new Las Vegas Ballpark by placing a season ticket deposit for just $100 per seat; $100 per seat for club seat and $100 for a group event.

Customers who place a deposit will be able to select their seats after current 51s season ticket holders. Deposit priority will be based on the time and date of deposit.

Inventory is limited on season tickets and the opportunity to purchase will be determined on a first come – first served basis. Priority order is based on 2018 season ticket holders, followed by customers who make a $100 deposit and finally the general public.

The $100 deposit will be kept on the customer’s account to secure the priority. At the date of the purchase, the deposit will be applied towards the total cost of the season tickets or group event.  All deposits are refundable if customers decide not to purchase tickets.

            NOTE: For fans that are currently a SEASON TICKET HOLDER or GROUP BUYER, there is no need to place a deposit for the 2019 season.
