Palace Station to Debut New Restaurants this Summer
Will unveil new and exciting first-to-market restaurant concepts
along with a brand-new Feast Buffet concept as part of $192 million modernization plan
Palace Station, the original Las Vegas locals’ casino, will ante up this season with the debut of new first-to-market restaurant concepts and a brand-new award-winning Feast Buffet, as part of a $192 million modernization of the property. Set to debut this summer, guests will soon be able to enjoy exciting new food and beverage offerings such as bBd’s (Beers Burgers Desserts), Boathouse Asian Eatery, Mumfresh Asian Eats and the next evolution in Station Casinos’ popular Feast Buffet – providing for an enticing array of updated dining experiences in the classic tradition of Las Vegas.
bBD’s, Boathouse Asian Eatery, Mumfresh Asian Eats and the all-new Feast Buffet will join the acclaimed 18-seat Oyster Bar, Little Tony’s created by 12-time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani, and Station Casinos’ popular steakhouse concept, the Charcoal Room.
Highlights of the new and updated culinary concepts include:
bBd’s(Beers Burgers Desserts)
bBd’s (Beers Burgers Desserts) will bring an innovative approach to the neighborhood restaurant featuring an homage to America’s beloved burger and focus on scratch cooking. Created by Chef Ralph Perrazzo, this New York-based restaurant marks a return to Las Vegas for Perrazzo who spent several years at award-winning restaurants including Bradley Ogden Restaurant at Caesars Palace, which at the time was a winner of the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant.
At bBd’s the hamburger comes first and foremost, using USDA Certified Prime Beef that is hand-butchered and pattied in the restaurant’s fully visible butcher room. Guests can choose from three different cooking methods, including the Steakhouse Burger (beef patty cooked over embers of Cherrywood and Canadian charcoal), Griddle Burger (thin patty of prime beef cooked on a hot griddle creating a crispy brown crust and savory center), and Steamed Burger (thin patty steamed over a slurry of chopped onions and fast food pickles). bBd’s has garnered praise for its burgers, having won the Judges’ Choice Award at the 2015 New York City Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash. The menu will also feature wood-fired custom-cut steaks and an extensive vegan and vegetarian selection including the meatless Meatball Parm Hero and Vegan Gyro Taco.
Complementing the food program, bBd’s will feature an expertly curated craft beer program driven by a custom-designed high-tech draft system (a first in Las Vegas), a perpetually rotating menu of bottles and draught taps that will showcase rare and vintage beers, nitro and authentic cask beer. Also available are international and domestic sour beers, seasonal cocktails, and a selection of wines. Guests with a sweet tooth will be treated to bBd’s indulgent desserts including handcrafted milkshakes featuring an all-natural house-made soft serve, custard-based shake prepared in both boozy and non-alcoholic versions, inspired by Chef Perrazzo’s pastry chef background.
Boathouse Asian Eatery
Created by dynamic brother and sister team Cat and Tu Do together with their partner Hans Mogensen from Northern California, Boathouse Asian Eatery will serve up a large selection of fresh seafood including innovative sushi rolls and traditional Chinese fare. Guests will be able to relish in a selection of small plates, soups, wok and steamed options, shellfish, and of course, favorites from the sushi and noodle bar.
Offering an eclectic mix of Japanese and east Asian cuisine, guests will enjoy signature menu items from the Graton Casino-based restaurant such as the Salt and Cracked Pepper Crab (whole crab with salt and pepper), Ginger Lobster (whole lobster with ginger and onion sauce) and Black Bean Basil Clams (Manila clams, tossed with green onions, ginger, jalapeños), and much more.
To pair with the vibrant menu, guests will be able to sip on artisanal cocktails and boutique Sonoma County wines, as well as interesting sake, beer and cider options.
Mumfresh Asian Eats
From the creators of Boathouse Asian Eatery will also come Mumfresh Asian Eats, a casual quick serve venue in teppanyaki-inspired menu inside Palace Station’s Marketplace, which will offer popular dishes including banh mi sandwiches, noodle soups and boba teas.
Feast Buffet
Feast Buffet, the original Station Casinos‘ buffet concept that first debuted at Palace Station in 1988, will amp up its traditional buffet experience with an all-new look, feel, location and menu that are sure to please. Set to open on the new casino floor, this exciting 14,000 square foot buffet experience is will define the next generation of Feast Buffets across Las Vegas.
Inspired by its sister concept A.Y.C.E Buffet at Palms Las Vegas, the Palace Station Feast Buffet will offer an eclectic menu of greatest hits and contemporary twists on traditional favorites, while also allowing patrons to sample culinary delights from around the globe without ever leaving Las Vegas – all in a 394-seat food hall setting.
The new buffet will feature six unique stations presenting global cuisine in a contemporary and relevant fashion, grouped by cooking techniques rather than by ethnicity. Sections including The Hearth, Wok This Way, Blazing Grill, Health Favorite, The Carvery and Just Desserts will offer everything from vegan fare to savory indulgent dishes.
Guests can expect to choose from a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options such as assorted breakfast pizzas, pancake poppers, stuffed crescent rolls, blistered BLT salad, watermelon feta salad, assorted Asian noodle salads, three-way pork belly, musubi, spam fried rice and much more. In addition, Feast Buffet will reinvent its dessert offerings with one-of-a-kind carnival-inspired treats such as s’mores bites, donut ice cream sandwiches, caramel and candy apples, funnel cake and zeppoles with palettas and gelato to top off the dining experience.
In addition to the exciting new food and beverage venues, the $192 million property-wide also features a fully renovated and expanded gaming floor including a new bingo room, renovated sports book and poker room as well as additional slot and video poker machines; a refreshed casino exterior look, including a new low-rise exterior façade, porte-cochere and casino valet, a resort-style pool, renovated hotel rooms and Regal Entertainment’s boutique 9-screen movieplex featuring all-luxury recliner seating and food and beverage offerings delivered right to your seat. The project is expected to be fully completed later this year.
