The UNLV men’s basketball team (19-8, 8-6 MW) will return home to the Thomas & Mack Center to host Fresno State (19-8, 9-5 MW) on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. The Runnin’ Rebels have won four straight games at the Thomas & Mack Center. In the season’s first meeting between the two teams, UNLV lost at Fresno State (69-63) on Jan. 23. 
 
The first 300 fans at Wednesday’s game will receive a $5 concessions voucher. Tickets may be purchased at UNLVtickets.com, by calling 702-739-FANS (3267) or by visiting the Thomas & Mack Center Box Office. Fans are encouraged to get in their seats early to experience the enhanced Runnin’ Rebel pregame show featuring 3D Video Projection Mapping.
 
The Runnin’ Rebels had won three straight games and five of their previous six, including a victory at then-No. 23 UNR, before losing at San Diego State on Saturday. UNLV is currently in fourth place in the Mountain West, one game back of third-place Fresno State. UNLV’s three-game win streak marked the first in Mountain West play for the Runnin’ Rebels since 2016 and the stretch of five wins in six games was its first in conference play since 2014. 
 
UNLV is ninth in the nation in field-goal percentage (50.2), 11th in rebounds per game (40.48), 12th in scoring (84.7), 34th in assists per game (16.4) and 37th in blocked shots per game (4.6). Additionally, the Runnin’ Rebels are No. 6 in the nation in free-throw attempts (699). Individually, Brandon McCoy and Shakur Juiston rank in the top 22 in the country in rebounding. McCoy is 19th (10.1 rpg), while Juiston is 22nd (9.9). UNLV is the only team in the nation with two top-22 rebounders. McCoy ranks 13th in double-doubles with 14, while Juiston is 34th with 11. Senior guard Jordan Johnson is 25th in the nation in assists with 5.8 apg. UNLV leads the Mountain West in scoring, field-goal percentage, field-goal percentage defense, rebounding, blocks and assists.
 
Wednesday’s game will be shown on ESPN3 with Trey Bender and Blaine Fowler calling the action.
