Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada Announces Camp K’helah Summer Camp Program – 2012

Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada presents Camp K’helah, a summer program for children ages 2 to 15 from June 25 through Aug. 17. Camp K’helah will include an outstanding itinerary of activities and events including: sports, arts and crafts, field trips and more.

Camp K’helah is offering campers two sessions this summer, session one will run from June 25 through July 20 and session two from July 23 through Aug. 10. A full summer session is also available from June 25 through Aug. 10.

In addition to traditional multi-week sessions, Camp K’helah is also offering five-day “mini-camps.” These exciting, themed camps are appropriate for children ages 5 to 12 and offer half days from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. as well as full days from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Themes for “mini-camp” include arts and crafts, soccer and dance.

Camp K’helah’s Camp on Wheels is also back by popular demand and is a one-week program from Aug. 13 through 17. Camp on Wheels features field trips to some of the most exciting destinations in Las Vegas and is appropriate for children ages 5 to 12 years old.

Registration for Camp K’helah is open until May 25. Financial assistance is available and open until April 1.
