 Turning Downtown into Cowboy Town, Golden Nugget Las Vegas will welcome country music icons Dec. 7 – 15 for National Finals Rodeo 2017. The all-star lineup of acclaimed musicians includes John Michael Montgomery (Dec. 7), Brenda Lee (Dec. 8), Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan (December 9), Charlie Daniels Band (Dec. 10), Ronnie Milsap (Dec. 11), Tanya Tucker (Dec. 12), Lonestar (Dec. 13), Clint Black (Dec. 14) and Jamey Johnson (Dec. 15).

John Michael Montgomery – Dec. 7
John Michael Montgomery has had more than 30 singles on the Billboard country charts, including seven number-one hits. Two of his chart-topping singles, “I Swear” and “I Can Love You Like That” were successfully covered by R&B group All-4-One. Several of Montgomery’s albums have been certified multi-platinum, platinum, and gold over his three-decade-spanning career.
 
Brenda Lee – Dec. 8
Little Miss Dynamite Brenda Lee burst onto the music scene at the age of nine with a big voice that has been enjoyed by audiences ever since. Her high-energy performances – which span genres from rock and roll to country to rockabilly, have made her a fan-favorite, who is known for getting guests out of their seats. A member of the Rock and Roll, Country Music, and Rockabilly Halls of Fame, Lee is also the recipient of the GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award.
 

 

Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan – Dec. 9
Dos Divas Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan will return to Golden Nugget Las Vegas following their 2017 Grits and Glamour tour. Originally a demo singer in Nashville, Tennessee, Tillis was signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1981 and then went on to release three certified platinum records including “Homeward Looking Angel,” “Sweetheart’s Dance,” and a greatest hits compilation. Lorrie Morgan charted her first single in 1978 and has since then charted more than 25 singles including “Five Minutes,” “What Part of No,” and “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.”

Charlie Daniels Band – Dec. 10
Rock out with The Charlie Daniels Band. The quick-singing country crooners, whose hits include “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” and “Long-Haired Country Boy,” have collaborated with diverse artists including Bob Dylan, Flatt & Scruggs, Pete Seeger, Mark O’Connor, Leonard Cohen, and Ringo Starr, and have had songs recorded by several artists including Elvis Presley and Tammy Wynette.


Ronnie Milsap – Dec. 11
With 40 number one country music hits and six GRAMMY awards under his belt, Ronnie Milsap is one of country’s most influential artists. Known for his genre-bending versatility, the 2014 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee is known for timeless hits including “Smoky Mountain Rain,” “(There’s) No Getting’ Over Me,” “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It for the World,” and more.

Tanya Tucker – Dec. 12
Throughout her years as a country music phenomenon, Tanya Tucker has received several accolades including a GRAMMY award, two Country Music Association awards, two Academy of Country Music awards and three Country Music Television awards. Her number one hits include “Blood Red and Goin’ Down” and “Would You Lay with Me (In a Field of Stone).”

 

Lonestar – Dec. 13
To date, Lonestar has sold over 10 million albums, with 10 No. 1 country hits as well as nine Top 40 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 charts including “I’m Already There,” “Come Cryin’ To Me” and their smash, “Amazed,” which spent eight weeks at the No. 1 spot on the country charts as well as reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The dual win made them the first country act since Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton’s “Islands In the Stream” in 1983 to accomplish this career milestone.

 

Clint Black – Dec. 14
With more than 30 singles US Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts, Clint Black has led a four-decade career as a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and actor. Known for his country music traditionalism, Black is the winner of several Academy of Country Music awards. In 2015, he released his 12th studio album, “On Purpose.”

 

Jamey Johnson – Dec. 15
Alabama born country artist Jamey Johnson broke into the music scene in 2005. As a multi-nominated artist Johnson has made several hits including “In Color” and “The High Cost of Living” and has written several hits for Trace Adkins, George Straight and many others. Johnson released his most recent album in 2015 and has been touring the country ever since.

 

Golden Nugget will host world-class country performances starting Thursday, Dec. 7. All concerts will be held in The Showroom following the rodeo at 10 p.m. each night.
