The Las Vegas 51s professional baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, will open a brief four-game homestand on Thursday, June 22 against the Salt Lake Bees, Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, at 7:05 p.m. at Cashman Field. The four-game series against the Bees will conclude on Sunday, June 25 at 12:05 p.m. in the final Sunday “home” matinee game of the ’17 season.  The remaining Sunday “home” games will be played at 7:05 p.m. on July 16, 30, August 6, 20, 27 and September 3.

The 51s, under first-year manager Pedro Lopez, are currently on a four-game road trip in Northern Nevada against intrastate rival, the Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, that will conclude on Tuesday, June 20. The next scheduled off day for the PCL is Wednesday, June 21.

Las Vegas is playing 20 out of a scheduled 28 games on the road in the month of June.

 2017 CASHMAN FIELD ATTENDANCE: In 32 dates, Las Vegas’ total is 180,390 for an average of 5,637.  Las Vegas has recorded three sellouts: 9,872 for Star Wars Night/Fireworks on April 28 vs. Albuquerque; season-high crowd of 10,342 for the Smokers Strike Out 14th Annual School Day Game on May 3 vs. Tacoma; 9,559 for the Fireworks/Nevada Donor Network Donate Life Night on May 5 vs. Tacoma.  The Las Vegas franchise has reached the 300,000 plateau in “home” attendance in all 34 seasons (1983-2016). The all-time attendance total now stands at 11,490,118.  The 51s organization have the proud distinction of being the longest enduring franchise in the history of professional sports in the state of Nevada.

            Budweiser Dollar Beer Night will be presented in the opener of the four-game series on Thursday, June 22. Dollar Beer Night will be featured at every Thursday home game during the 2017 season.  Proper identification and wristbands are required for dollar beer night.

A spectacular post-game “Fireworks Show,” presented by Vons, will then be featured in game two of the series on Friday, June 23 at 7:05 p.m.

Ugly Sweater Jersey Night, to the first 2,500 fans through the gates (open at 6 p.m.), will be presented in game three of the series on Saturday, June 24 at 7:05 p.m. Saturday’s contest is also “Halfway to X-Mas Night” at the ballpark.

The 51s will broadcast all games on Lotus Broadcasting on NBC Sports Radio AM 920 ‘THE GAME’, which will carry live all 142 regular season games. Also, all games will be available on the 51s website (Major League Baseball Advanced Media, MLBAM) at www.LV51.comRuss Langer, the 10-time Nevada Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NSSA), is in his 18th season behind the microphone calling 51s baseball.

Salt Lakes’ roster features one of the top 10 prospects in the Angels organization, according to Baseball America: left-handed pitcher Nate Smith (No. 5).

Following the homestand, Las Vegas will embark on an eight-game road trip beginning in the Pacific Northwest on Monday, June 26 against the Tacoma Rainiers, Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The four-game series will conclude on Thursday, June 29. The 51s will then travel to Salt Lake City Utah to face the Bees in a four-game series from Friday-Monday, June 30 – July 3.

             The individual game tickets for the 71-game home season are priced at $11.00 (reserved, $12.00-Day of Game); $14.00 (plaza, $15.00-Day of Game) and $16.00 (field, $17.00-Day of Game) & the blue dugout seats at $30.00 ($35-Day of Game).  The traditional $2.00 discount for Military personnel is offered on plaza, field and reserved seats throughout the season.

TUESDAY, JULY 4: All seats for the “Fireworks Extravaganza,” presented by The Valley Health System, are priced at $16.00 (presale); $17.00-Day of Game.  The 51s will host El Paso at 7:05 p.m.
