NEON MUSEUM’S NE10 BUILDING TO HOST LAS VEGAS ELKS HELLDORADO
DAYS ART SHOW, FRIDAY, MAY 5 AND SUNDAY, MAY 7
WHAT:
The Las Vegas Elks Helldorado Days Art Show will be open to the public on First Friday, May 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Neon Museum’s NE10 Building on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Stewart Avenue. On Sunday, May 7, an auction and wine-and-cheese reception will take place from 2 to 5 p.m., offering an opportunity for the public to meet and greet the artists.
Approximately 50 artists’ original artwork will be featured in the categories of oil, acrylic, pencil, pen-and-ink, pastel, mixed media, watercolor, photography and sculpture. All styles of art were accepted and awards will be given in each of the above categories for first, second and third place, with a Best of Show overall. First place winners in each category, plus the Best of Show winner, will be part of a gallery exhibition at Las Vegas City Hall. The entry period for the art show is now closed.

A time-honored tradition in the City of Las Vegas, Elks Helldorado Days is a month-long celebration of Southern Nevada’s rich western history that incorporates a multitude of events for the entire family.
