On Saturday, April 1, the Academy of Country Music® hosted the third day of the 5th ACM Party for a Cause®, which consists of eighteen events across thirteen venues in Las Vegas featuring performances by over eighty artists during The Week Vegas Goes Country®. The events span from Thursday, March 30 – Sunday, April 2, 2017, surrounding the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards™, Country Music’s Party of the Year®, which will broadcast LIVE for the first time ever from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 8:00 PM ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
Earlier this evening Florida Georgia Line was surprised onstage when it was announced that they had won two ACM Awards (off camera categories) for Vocal Event of the Year (“May We All” – Florida Georgia Line featuring Tim McGraw) and ACM Single Record of the Year (“H.O.L.Y.” – Florida Georgia Line). ACM CEO Pete Fisher presented Florida Georgia Line with the Awards at the ACM Party for a Cause: WME Bash at the Beach event.
The GO Pool at Flamingo Las Vegas was live all day for the ACM Pool Party for a Cause Presented by MillerCoors with performances by Old Dominion, Jerrod Niemann, Jackie Lee and Dee Jay Silver. Lee Brice took the stage, surprising the crowd with a duet performance during Jerrod Niemann’s set.
Later in the evening, Lady Antebellum, Kip Moore, Kelsea Ballerini, Eric Paslay, Brett Young, Ryan Hurd, Drew Baldridge, and HISH performed at ACM Party for a Cause: The Joint, hosted by Bobby Bones with Crook and Chase.
