Governor’s Series Points At Stake Saturday…
UNLV’s road contest on Saturday at Nevada, Reno is a key contest for several reasons. First, a win would give the Lady Rebels a sweep of the Wolf Pack, and three points in the Governor’s Series for UNLV, the all-sports competition between the two schools sponsored by NV Energy and Barrick Gold. Second, it would give the Lady Rebels their second 20-win season in the past 14 years, and first since 2011-12. And third, it would keep UNLV at least tied for second place, as it comes in at 10-5 in the league standings, along with Wyoming.
Saturday’s game tips off at 4 pm in the Lawlor Events Center, and can be watched on the Mountain West Network at UNLVRebels.com, while the radio broadcast featuring Wyatt Tomchek will be available on KSHP 1400 AM and online as well.
