SUSHISAMBA UNVEILS LARGEST JAPANESE WHISKY LIST IN LAS VEGAS
SUSHISAMBA, known for their unique blend of fiery Brazilian, zesty Peruvian and fresh Japanese cuisine inside the Grand Canal Shoppes, now features the largest Japanese whisky list in Las Vegas, and one of the largest in America.
Japanese Whiskies have been gaining global accolades and popularity in recent years. After conquering sake for the past 15 years, SUSHISAMBA is expanding their brand featuring 26 whiskies aged up to 28 years, in all varieties. The impressive collection also includes some rare award-winning selections such as Akashi 5YR Sherry Cask, the Mars 3 & 25, Nikka Taketsuru 17yr Pure Malt – a line dedicated to the founder of Nikka.
In celebration, the restaurant will offer a special menu featuring Japanese Whisky, curated by Executive Chef Joel Versola. The menu will showcase the versatility of the whiskies presented with a variety of SUSHISAMBA dishes from crispy tempura minter sweet oysters with butter lettuce to whisky-soy marinated robata pork ribs. Each dish will highlight the flavor profiles and nuances of the paired whisky.
YARDBIRD SOUTHERN TABLE & BAR CELEBRATES ST. PATRICK’S DAY
The critically-acclaimed Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, located in The Venetian’s Restaurant Row, will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on March 17 with Bad Beat Brewing’s locally crafted Gutshot Irish Stout for $9.
LAGASSE’S STADIUM’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL MENU
Chef Emeril Lagasse’s award-winning sports bar, Lagasse’s Stadium is ready for the most famous college basketball tournament Mar. 16 – Apr. 3 with a kicked up menu and more than 100 HD screens, including the main 9×16-foot screen, luxury boxes, and plush stadium-style seating for fans to sit back, relax and enjoy.

GRIMALDI’S INTRODUCES ‘STOKING SOCIAL HOUR’
Famous for their award-winning, hand-tossed coal-fired brick oven pizzas, Grimaldi’s at the Grand Canal Shoppes has launched ‘Stoking Social Hour’ available Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. This special happy hour features:
- $2 off draft beers
- $2 off glasses of wine (house wine excluded)
- $2 off bruschetta trio and antipasto platters
- $30 for popular Coalition featuring pairing of bruschetta trio or a small antipasto platter with a bottle of wine
In addition, guests are invited to enjoy two new Coalition wines, with choice of a white or red options, Terra D’Oro Moscato or 19 Crimes Red Blend.
NATIONAL STEAK DAY (MARCH 14)
Calling all carnivores. You don’t need an excuse to indulge in a delicious meal. National Steak Day is March 14 and several restaurants at The Venetian and The Palazzo are celebrating with the following special menu items:
BUDDY V’S RISTORANTE – Steak Pizzaioli
Buddy “Cake Boss” Valastro’s restaurant, Buddy V’s Ristorante, located in the Grand Canal Shoppes, is serving up a signature steak pizzaioli. This dish features a juicy New York strip served with peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and onions for $36.
HONG KONG CAFÉ – Pepper Crusted Kobe Beef
Hong Kong Café, located on the casino floor at The Palazzo, will be offering pepper-crusted Kobe Beef with golden garlic flakes. The dish includes 8 oz. of Australian Kobe Steak, wok seared to a perfect medium with black pepper and garlic flakes for $58, available Feb. 20 – March 20.
PUBLIC HOUSE – Wagyu Flat Iron Oscar
Public House is a beer lover’s paradise with more than 200 selections, more than 40 aged whiskeys, scotches, bourbons and wines. The gastropub, located in The Venetian’s Restaurant Row, will offer a decadent Wagyu flat iron Oscar. This special dish will be served with asparagus, lump crab, creamy béarnaise and bordelaise sauces, and truffle mashed potatoes.
ZEFFIRINO ITALIAN RISTORANTE Offers Three Steak Specials
Zeffirino Italian Ristorante, located in the Grand Canal Shoppes, will offer several special entrees to enjoy including:
- Chateaubriand for two – A 22 oz. center cut of USDA Prime filet mignon seared and roasted, served with a shallot and chardonnay wine sauce, asparagus, baby carrots and roasted potatoes $125. Served March 1, 2017 – April 1, 2017.

BUDDY V’s RISTORANTE – Melon Blossom
Buddy V’s Ristorante created by TLC’s “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro, located in the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian, serves up Italian family recipes. Just in time for spring, guests can sip on the Melon Blossom:
