Sommelier Smackdown Wine Events Are Back at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at Downtown Summerlin
Top Sommeliers to go Head-to-Head in Ultimate Wine Competition February, March and April Dates
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is excited to bring back its highly-anticipated Sommelier Smackdown for a competition that will shake up Downtown Summerlin for the second time around. The restaurant will welcome some of Las Vegas’ best sommeliers to go head-to-head with their expert wine selections paired with three delicious courses by Executive Chef Spencer Rudow.
Set to compete to win your palate approval, the fate of the winning sommelier is left up to the guests, as they vote round by round, choosing their favorite pairing per course. Winning sommeliers of Round 1 and 2 will be invited back Tuesday, April 4 to compete in The Main Event for a chance to win ultimate bragging rights and a definitive championship prize.
Event Schedule (each event kicks off at 6:30 p.m.)
- Round 1: Tuesday, February 7
- Round 2: Tuesday, March 7
- Round 3 (The Main Event): Tuesday, April 4

- Round 2 (Mar 7): Louis de Santos (Southern Wine & Spirits) vs. Sarah Pollock (Jasmine at The Bellagio)
- Round 3 (Apr 4): Winners of Rounds 1 & 2
