STYX AND DON FELDER GIVE BACK TO CHARITY DURING FIVE-NIGHT LIMITED ENGAGEMENT AT THE VENETIAN THEATRE
A signed guitar will be raffled off by Rock To The Rescue during each night of “Styx & Don Felder: Renegades In The Fast Lane” to benefit Las Vegas-based nonprofit Positively Arts Foundation
Rock to the Rescue, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded by rock bands Styx and REO Speedwagon, partners with Las Vegas charity Positively Arts Foundation (PAF) to donate guitar raffle funds during Styx and Don Felder’s five-night run at The Venetian Theatre. The show, “Styx & Don Felder: Renegades In The Fast Lane,” kicks off Friday, January 6 inside The Venetian® Las Vegas.
Each night, Rock to the Rescue will raffle off an Epiphone Les Paul Junior guitar signed by members of the band as well as Don Felder. A portion of the proceeds will benefit PAF, an organization dedicated to using the arts to empower, inspire and heal. PAF brings today’s professional artists together with aspiring students for positive art opportunities despite their financial need or accessibility. The remaining proceeds will be donated to Rock to the Rescue, a nonprofit that builds strong, healthy communities through the support of grassroots causes across the country.
To enter the raffle, attendees must purchase a commemorative guitar pick for $10 from the Rock to the Rescue booth located on the Parterre level of the Venetian Theatre or from a Positively Arts Foundation volunteer prior to the start of the show. At the end of each show, a guitar pick will be drawn and one lucky winner will get to take home an invaluable piece of history.
“We are so happy to be able to help the Las Vegas community while performing with our good friend Don Felder,” said Tommy Shaw. “By teaming up with the Positively Arts Foundation we get to share our passion and love for the music industry and help support music education.”
Styx & Don Felder: Renegades In The Fast Lane will be held on January 6, 7, 11, 13 and 14, 2017. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchase at www.Venetian.com/StyxFelder.
