Along with the scheduled events, Fremont Street Experience guests can enjoy weekend afternoon and nightly entertainment and flights on SlotZilla™, the world’s most unique zipline.

September/October
BikeFest RockFest – Sept. 29 – Oct. 2
Ever year, Las Vegas hosts BikeFest, one of the biggest motorcycle events of the year. Fremont Street Experience welcomes the crowd with a festive street party, BikeFest RockFest. jam-packed with rock n’ roll entertainment, complimented with Viva Vision® shows dedicated to some of the world’s most iconic bands.

Fremont FrightFest – Oct. 5-31
Fremont Street Experience transforms itself for the ultimate Halloween street party, Fremont FrightFest, featuring a Rock of Horror Picture Show theme. The spooktacular festivities include Halloween-themed entertainment and Viva Vision® shows, a costume contest, pub crawl and more. In addition, Fremont Street Experience member property Golden Nugget Las Vegas hosts the Fall Beer Festival bringing together consumers, craft beer vendors, live music, great food and hundreds of beers.

National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) FanFest – Oct. 27
Fremont Street Experience hosts the NHRA FanFest to celebrate the NHRA Nationals, taking place in Las Vegas annually. The stars of the NHRA head to downtown Las Vegas to interact with fans and sign autographs at Fremont Street Experience. Other event highlights include: a NHRA themed light show on the Viva Vision®, ticket giveaways and music to highlight the popular NHRA Fanfest.

November
American Heart Association Heart Walk – Nov. 5
Fremont Street Experience sponsors the annual American Heart Association Heart Walk, bringing the community together in downtown Las Vegas. The event attracts thousands of walkers from all over the Las Vegas area and encourages them to step out, have fun, get inspired and support a meaningful cause. Complimentary blood pressure screenings, BMI checks, an ask the expert table, and nutritional information are offered for participants; as well as a “Survivors Pavilion” for Heart & Stroke survivors to hang out, socialize, and learn about support groups and community outreach. Registration is required.

Las Vegas Rock & Roll Marathon – Nov. 12-13
With the mission “to be the most entertaining marathon & half marathon in the world!,” the Las Vegas Rock & Roll Marathon has become one of the city’s most entertaining races. Patrons have the opportunity to run against the backdrops of the famed Las Vegas Strip and underneath the Viva Vision® canopy at Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas. The rockin’ race consists of a marathon and half-marathon to benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. Registration is required.

Downtown Hoedown – Nov. 30
Fremont Street Experience wrangles in the top country music talents for all cowboys, cowgirls and country music fans alike to celebrate the return of the annual National Finals Rodeo to Las Vegas with free concerts under the neon lights. The Downtown Hoedown features a star-studded line up of some of yesterday and today’s top country artists on all three stages. This event kicks off 12 Days of Country featuring free nightly entertainment from a rowdy line-up of top local artists/acts and exclusive custom holiday-inspired country show taking place during National Finals Rodeo.

Las Vegas Great Santa Run – Dec. 3
The annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run at Fremont Street Experience brings more than 10,000 “Santas” to downtown Las Vegas, gathering around the starting line to complete this race benefitting local the nonprofit organization, Opportunity Village. The Las Vegas Great Santa Run is a ‘must’ for visitors and locals alike, as well as a community involvement activity for local businesses and a holiday tradition for families. This event features live entertainment and is fun for the whole family. Registration is required.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony – Dec. 6
Fremont Street Experience’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony brightens up the holiday season in Downtown Las Vegas as Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman and Santa Claus light Downtown Las Vegas’ official Christmas Tree. The 50-foot tree is decked with festive decorations shining brightly below the 12.5 million lights of the Viva Vision® canopy. The Christmas Tree is displayed at Fremont Street Experience throughout the Christmas holiday.

Downtown Throwdown Barbeque Championships – Dec. 9-10
In conjunction with the Nevada Barbecue Association, each year during National Finals Rodeo, Fremont Street Experience brings the Downtown Throwdown Barbecue Championships to downtown Las Vegas for a fierce competition as cooks fire up the grills. The event features a Chili Cook-Off and Barbecue Cook-Off, in which the public is invited to enjoy delicious samples of chili, ribs, chicken, brisket and pork from some of the best cowboy cooks around. The two-day event is topped off by an awards ceremony in which patrons and judges will decide who is the cream of the crop.

Las Vegas Bowl Official Pep Rally – Dec. 16
Fremont Street Experience is the official host for the Las Vegas Bowl Pep Rally, which brings collegiate teams, cheerleaders, mascots, bands and fans to downtown Las Vegas to get in the spirit of bowl season.  The public is invited to head down to Fremont Street Experience for interactive contests, a battle of the college bands and performances from the cheerleaders before the big game.

Grand Menorah Lighting Ceremony – Dec. 24
The famous neon lights of the Viva Vision® canopy will be complemented with a touch of holiday spirit as Fremont Street Experience kicks-off the holiday season with the annual Grand Menorah Lighting Ceremony. Each year Rabbi Shea Harlig and Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman participate in a ceremony, including festive themed entertainment, to light the Grand Menorah.

Downtown Countdown – Dec. 31
Rock in the New Year with the ultimate New Year’s Eve street party during the Downtown Countdown celebration at Fremont Street Experience – downtown Las Vegas’ official New Year’s Eve party.  Just before midnight, revelers say goodbye to the previous year with a year-in-review retrospective on the Viva Vision® canopy, a midnight countdown led by Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman and an epic Fireworks by Grucci produced show synchronized with virtual fireworks on Viva Vision® as part of the citywide celebration. Attendees are invited to celebrate the New Year under the canopy with room and drink specials all within walking distance underneath the lights of the Viva Vision® canopy. Event is limited to patrons 21+ and ID will be required upon arrival. In addition, New Year’s Eve marks the only night of the year Fremont Street Experience has paid, ticketed admission.
