ALL-STAR SUMMERLAND TOUR LINEUP BRINGS BLAST FROM THE PAST TO
DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS EVENTS CENTER, AUG. 12
The anticipated Summerland Tour provided an unforgettable night of old classics and new favorites at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC) on Friday, August 12. Founded by Everclear’s lead singer Art Alexakis in 2012, the tour has been named “The 10 Hottest Summer Package Tours” by Rolling Stone.
The night kicked off with beloved band Sponge, who pumped up the crowd with tunes like “Wax Ecstatic,” “Molly” and “Jump While the House is on Fire,” which debuts on their newest album, The Beer Sessions. Immediately following, grunge band Lit took the stage to perform “My Own Worst Enemy,” “Miserable” and many more.
Next up, Everclear delivered a high-energy performance with songs “Father of Mine” and “Santa Monica.” Fans danced and cheered as the Grammy-nominated band also rocked out to “Heroin Girl,” Wonderful,” and “I’ll Buy You a New Life.” The evening concluded with platinum-selling group Sugar Ray, who delivered Billboard hits like “Every Morning,” “Fly,” “Answer the Phone” and “Someday.”
