In celebration of Nevada Ballet Theatre’s milestone 45th Season, Jeff White Custom Jewelry along with legendary prima ballerina Cynthia Gregory, will debut a specially designed series of pendants that will capture the elegance, beauty and grace of ballet. All proceeds from the piece, which will be available starting in October and throughout the remainder of the season, will be donated directly to the dance company to support its creative endeavors and multitude of impactful works within the community.
Gregory in conjunction with father and son jewelry team, Jeff and Danny White will be collaborating on this one-of-a-kind series, each drawing on their respective creative backgrounds. The dedicated line will be available in three different styles including, sterling silver, rose or yellow gold and a custom option with choice of metal and semi-precious or precious gems.
“As lifelong fans of the arts and third generation Las Vegas residents, we were honored to be able to help create something to commemorate the great legacy of the ballet,” said Danny White, “It was really important to design a series of pieces to fit everyone’s taste and style, allowing all fans to come out and support this wonderful organization.”
The company’s 45th season will commence in October with The Sleeping Beauty and will feature iconic ballets including the full-length Swan Lake in February 2017. This Smith Center premiere will be staged by Gregory, whose definitive performance as Odette/Odile led her to be described as America’s Prima Ballerina Assoluta by Rudolph Nureyev.
With a career that has spanned more than a quarter of a century, Miss Gregory is celebrated as one of the world’s greatest ballerinas. A member of the Las Vegas community since 2010, Miss Gregory continues to pass on her knowledge and experience through staging ballets and coaching the next generation of dancers around the country and throughout the world.
“Being able to channel some of my past experience and creativity into a different art form has been a wonderful process,” said Gregory, “I truly feel we have created something that people will cherish for many years to come.”
Currently in production, the design will be unveiled in the weeks leading up to NBT’s 45th anniversary Season, with a special VIP event hosted at Jeff White Jewelry inside Tivoli Village.
