Last night (Saturday, July 2) Steven Tyler kicked off his highly anticipated Out On A Limb solo tour to a sold out crowd at The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian® Las Vegas.
Tyler, who was joined onstage by country music ensemble Loving Mary, opened with iconic hits “Sweet Emotion” and “Cryin'” before launching into “Love Is Your Name” from his new solo album, “We’re All Somebody From Somewhere.” The Aerosmith front man entertained the sellout crowd with personal stories in between songs and had everyone singing along as he belted out Janis Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart” and a Beatles medley that included “I’m Down,” “Oh! Darling” and “Come Together.”
Fans were treated to a special performance of Tyler’s new single “My Own Worst Enemy” as the GRAMMY winner told the audience they were the first to hear the song played live.
Tyler ended the concert with Aerosmith classic “Walk This Way” and the theater chanted his name until he returned for an encore, performing a slow, melodic version of “Janie’s Got A Gun,” followed by his new single “We’re All Somebody From Somewhere” and “Train Kept Rollin’.”
