Vegas Sun Honors The Valley’s Best High School basketball Players During Press Conference and Photo Shoot, Nov. 12
Annual event honors best teams, top 14 notable players including Troy Brown Jr.
WHAT: The award-winning Las Vegas Sun will hold a press conference at South Point Hotel and Casino in honor of the city’s most promising high school basketball players on Thursday, Nov. 12. The conference will be presented in two parts—a top 10 team presentation and followed by a Super Seven preseason player showcase. Las Vegas Sun’s Senior Sports Editor Raymond Brewer has selected ten teams as the preseason’s best bets, and from 5 to 7 p.m. players and coaches will be interviewed and photographed for LasVegasSun.com. From 9 p.m., the seven girls and seven boys picked as the “Super Seven” stars by Brewer will be presented with a special jersey. They will be interviewed and photographed for LasVegasSun.com.
Among the talented individuals will be Troy Brown Jr. of Centennial High School, one of the top-five college recruits in the nation and Chuck O’Bannon of Gorman High School, a five-star recruit and son of UCLA great Charles O’Bannon.
