Comedian and actor Lavell Crawford brings his original stand-up comedy show to the Suncoast Showroom Nov. 7 and 8.Crawford is most notable for his role as Saul Goodman’s bodyguard, Huell Babineaux, in AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” but he is no stranger to Hollywood. Crawford can also be seen in episodes of FX’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” and Comedy Central’s “Tosh.0” and “Workaholics.”
In addition to his guest appearances on hit television shows, Crawford was a regular panelist during the round table segments on “Chelsea Lately,” and serves as a special correspondent and panelist on “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore.” Crawford was also a finalist for NBC’s 2007 “Last Comic Standing.”
In 2011, he released “Lavell Crawford: Can a Brother Get Some Love?,” a one-hour Comedy Central follow- up to his 2008 appearance. This summer, Crawford shared the big screen with Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg and Topher Grace as Big Harold in the action-comedy “American Ultra.”
