United Way of Southern Nevada’s Volunteer Center Beautifies City Impact Center
in Honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 16
Nonprofit seeks volunteers to assist with clean up, landscaping and mural painting
United Way of Southern Nevada’s Volunteer Center encourages Las Vegans to make a difference in the community and commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. with a “Day ON, not a Day OFF.” The nonprofit is seeking volunteers to assist with clean up, landscaping and mural painting at City Impact Center(950 E. Sahara Ave.) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 16.
All attendees must register online in order to participate. Volunteers are asked to check in at the City Impact gymnasium at 8 a.m. and dress accordingly as some projects may occur outdoors. Lunch will be provided. For more information and to sign up, please visit the event page.
City Impact Center is a community outreach organization that empowers individuals in Southern Nevada to better themselves and their families. The center uses faith-based solutions to help those in need learn skills to live productive and fulfilling lives.
