Legendary Comedian Marty Allen Performs at Rampart Casino, April 17
65-Year veteran of stage and screen still going strong at the age of 93
93-year-old WWII veteran and legendary comedian and dramatic actor Marty Allen offers Las Vegas a hilarious performance on April 17 at 7 p.m. in the Rampart Casino’s Grand Ballroom.
Allen began his career in 1950 as an opening act for stars such as Sarah Vaughan, Edyie Gorme and Nat King Cole. He later became part of the comedy team of Allen & Rossi with Steve Rossi. In the 1960’s he performed on Broadway in “Let It Ride!” and “I Had A Ball!” Allen also worked in television, with 40 appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show and hundreds of later appearances in the 1970’s and into the 1980’s, many as a regular on Hollywood Squares.
