JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE RINGS IN 2015 WITH FINAL TWO SHOWS OF THE 20/20 EXPERIENCE WORLD TOUR

Justin Timberlake announced today he will bring his two-year epic world tour to a close with two New Year’s week shows Thursday, Jan. 1 and Friday, Jan. 2 at the legendary MGM Grand Garden Arena. The 20/20 Experience World Tour shows will be filmed and directed by acclaimed American filmmaker, producer, and screenwriter Jonathan Demme.

Tickets priced at $89.50, $119.50, $149.50 and $279.50, not including applicable service charges, go on sale Friday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. and will be sold at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (select Smith’s Food and Drug Centers and Ritmo Latino). Timberlake swept the 2014 Billboard Music Awards taking home seven Awards including Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Album and Top Billboard 200 Album.  He also has received three People’s Choice Awards, three GRAMMY Awards, three ASCAP Awards, a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award and a Radio Disney Music Award this year.  These awards bring his grand total of awards to 25 for The 20\20 Experience – The Complete Experience since it was released in March 2013.

The 20\20 Experience – The Complete Experience has been critically well received and was the best-selling album worldwide in 2013.  To date it has sold more than 5 million albums and 15 million tracks. Demme is best known for directing The Silence of the Lambs, Talking Heads Stop Making Sense, the recent film Rachel Getting Married, and currently is filming Ricki and the Flash.  Gary Goetzman will join Demme as the producer on the Justin Timberlake project.  Goeztman’s credits include the popular Mamma Mia!, Stop Making Sense, 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert, and the upcoming HBO mini-series Olive Kitteridge, among others.
