HELLKATS & HOUNDS EVENT, FEATURING CARS AND MUSIC AT GOLD MINE TAVERN, TO BENEFIT CHARITY
Project 150, helping homeless high school students, to benefit
The iconic Gold Mine Tavern, located on historic Water Street, will host an exciting night of entertainment on September 13 to benefit Project 150, which helps homeless and displaced high school students in Southern Nevada. The event that works in partnership with Hellkat Productions, a Las Vegas-based company that puts car shows together, will feature a display of unique and historic vehicles, along with music from The Royal Hounds, a high-energy rockabilly trio from Tennessee that is now locally based. Guests will enjoy drink specials from sponsors Jim Beam Kentucky FIRE and Miller Lite.*
Proceeds from a silent auction-style raffle and a donation by The Gold Mine Tavern of $1 for every signature “FIRE APPLE” shot sold will benefit Project 150, an organization that helps homeless and displaced students in Clark County stay in school by providing everyday basics. Raffle prizes will include Maverick Helicopter tour for two, Las Vegas Strip show tickets and gift baskets. Guests at the event are also asked to bring other items of value for Project 150, which include school supplies, food establishment gift cards, undergarments, toiletries and gently used jackets and coats.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and is open to guests 21 and older*. There is no cover charge. For more information, head to www.thegoldminetavern.com or call (702) 318-8446, ext. 210. To learn more about Project 150, head to www.project150.org.
