Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas splashes into summer with Dive‘n’Movies
Movie nights at 8 p.m. every Friday from June 6 through Aug. 22
Back by popular demand, Dive‘n’Movies at Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas will begin on Friday, June 6 at 8 p.m., kicking off with the highest grossing animated film of all time. Movie nights are free with the price of admission and are an added benefit for Season Pass holders. During the day, guests can take advantage of the park’s many slides and attractions including the new Tornado extreme funnel slide that provides a zero gravity experience, and then catch great movies under the stars every Friday night.
“Our Dive‘n’Movies proved to be a family favorite last year so we’re starting these special events earlier this season and have added more dates,” said Takuya Ohki, general manager of Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas. “They’re a great way for the whole family to spend time together. We’ll be showing a wide range of movies from animated classics to favorite action features that are perfect for all ages.”
Dive‘n’Movies will be every Friday from June to Aug. 22 at the Red Rock Bay Wave Pool which will transform into a unique outdoor cinema. Guests will be able to view blockbuster films while relaxing on inflatable tubes, available to rent, or on lounge chairs enjoying popcorn and other snacks.
Movie times are 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. when the park closes. For the complete movie schedule, visit www.wetnwildlasvegas.com/Events/DivenMovieslv.asp. Dates and times are subject to change.
Wet‘n’Wild is also offering a Twilight admission option for $19.99 for guests who want to enjoy the park at 4 p.m. and later to take advantage of Wet‘n’Wild’s extended hours this season. It will stay open until 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
“We created the Twilight admission option to give guests more flexibility with pricing and hours,” said Ohki. “We realize some people may be working or are busy earlier in the day, and it’s easier to come later and still enjoy the park, particularly with our extended hours and reduced priced ticket.”
