Downtown Properties Raise A Pint To America’s Favorite Irish Holiday With
Parties, Specialty Drinks And T-Shirt Giveaways
Cheers! Downtown Las Vegas’ annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration is back! Known as Sin City’s wildest St. Paddy’s Day bash, 2014’s festivities feature four straight days and nights of Gaelic madness Friday, March 14 through Monday, March 17 on the Fremont Street Experience.
Downtown party spots, the D and Golden Gate, invite guests to earn a little luck o’ the Irish with T-shirt giveaways, drinks specials and fun for all. Just outside each casino’s doors, celebrants can enjoy free live performances all weekend by bands including Tempest, L.A. Vation, Darby O’Gill and the Little People and more.
The celebration reaches its pinnacle on Monday, March 17 when thousands of partygoers donning their best green attire flood Fremont Street for the Sixth Annual Downtown St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl. The Pub Crawl will take place from 2 p.m. to midnight, with stops at the neighborhood’s hottest bars including D Bar, LONGBAR and Vue Bar (the D) and One Bar, Flair Bar and Bar Prohibition! (Golden Gate).

- the D’s Annual St. Paddy’s Day Bash – Monday, Mar. 17. the D hosts the “Pot o’ Gold” of St. Patrick’s Day parties in Las Vegas – an annual bash that soaks the downtown casino in green and invites lads and lasses to let loose as they party alongside leprechauns till the top o’ the mornin’. Partygoers will enjoy festive drink specials including $5 Dirty Girl Scout Cookie shots and Irish Car Bombs, $4 green beers and $3 shots of Jameson® Irish Whiskey. For $21, those looking to celebrate into the wee hours can opt for a Smoking Irish Fog – a secret recipe served in a 44-ounce goblet. Celebrants can also partake in the age-old Irish tradition of kissing the Blarney Stone – a relic from the legendary Blarney Castle in Ireland that has taken residence at the D’s second-floor Vue Bar. Planting a kiss on this piece of history is sure to bring more luck to the bestower than simply finding a four-leaf clover.
- T-shirt giveaway. Don’t get pinched! the D is protecting players from bruised arms by outfitting them in green apparel with a St. Paddy’s Day T-shirt giveaway. Starting Sunday, March 16 at 6 p.m. players can earn an “I Got Lucky at the D” T-shirt by placing a $100 buy-in on table games, wagering $100 on live Keno or earning 100 points on slots.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, players will earn a free “I Got Lucky at the Golden Gate” T-shirt with a $100 buy-in on table games or by earning 200 points playing slots.
