UNLV WOMEN’S BASKETBALL HOSTS AIR FORCE SATURDAY ON REBEL KIDS CLUB DAY
Lady Rebels also recognizing Misfit MARCH Madness, both teams to wear mismatched socks during the game
The UNLV women’s basketball team plays the first of two home games in a week when it hosts Air Force on Saturday afternoon at 4 pm at the Cox Pavilion. Saturday is Rebel Kids Club Day, and there will be several activities for kids including a bounce house, face painting and a photo booth with Hey Reb, all starting at 2:30 pm. The game is Military Appreciation Day as well, and anyone showing a military ID will receive two for one tickets.
UNLV is the first collegiate team to participating in Misfit MARCH Madness, a program with the purpose of spreading the message to stand up against bullying, and all the Lady Rebel players, as well as the players off the Air Force squad, will be wearing mismatched socks during the contest. All fans are encouraged to do the same to show their support for the cause.
All-time UNLV is 17-0 against the Falcons in Las Vegas, and the average margin of victory is over 21 points, with only one win by less then double-digits. A win would give UNLV its second conference sweep of the season, along with Utah State.
There will be a live webcast of the game featured on the Mountain West Network at UNLVRebels.com, while the UNLV radio broadcast, featuring the call from Adam Candee, Jesse Vineyard and Dominique Harris is available on KSHP 1400 AM and also off a link at UNLVRebels.com
