The Venetian® and The Palazzo® Las Vegas Honored with
Several Prestigious Awards in 2014

The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas have received several accolades during the New Year. In January, the properties received the following notable honors, including:

• Travel + Leisure (World’s Top 500 Hotels in 2014 for The Palazzo)
• Condé Nast Traveler (Gold List 2014 for The Palazzo)
• Condé Nast Traveler (Top 50 Hotel Spas 2014 for The Venetian)
Forbes Travel Guide (Four-Star Hotel for The Venetian and The Palazzo)
U.S. News & World Report (Best Hotels 2014 for The Venetian and The Palazzo)

“We are truly honored to receive these distinguished awards,” said John Caparella, president and COO of The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo. “These honors are a testament to the personal attention and level of service our team members offer every single day. From a collection of award-winning restaurants, entertainment and shopping, to distinctive amenities, our guests receive these unparalleled experiences all in one spectacular location.”

To be acknowledged in Travel + Leisure’s prestigious World’s Best Hotels, the magazine requires a property to go above and beyond guest expectations. The awards are determined following a survey completed by magazine’s readers. The World’s Best Awards hotel rankings are based on readers’ ratings in five categories: rooms/facilities, location, service, restaurants/food and value.

Chosen from cruises, resorts, and hotels around the world, Condé Nast Traveler 500-member Gold List is the result of nearly 80,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers’ participation in the magazine’s Readers’ Choice survey. Weighing accommodations, service, perks, details, sights, dining, and amenities, the Gold List is truly a global representation of quality and elite status. In addition, the Condé Nast Traveler 2014 Readers Poll included the list of the top 50 favorite hotel spas, as chosen by the magazine’s readers and editors.

Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Hotels provide a distinctive setting, and guests will find many interesting and inviting elements to enjoy. Attention to detail is prominent throughout the property, from design concept to quality of products provided. Staff is accommodating and takes pride in catering to your specific needs throughout your stay.

U.S. News & World Report 2014 Best Hotels recognize hotels that were ranked based on an unbiased methodology that includes the collective opinion of travel experts and guests, expressed through online reviews and ratings. To create this year’s rankings, U.S. News factored in the prominence of industry awards a hotel receives along with its reputation among travel experts and guests. In total, 1,693 U.S. hotels, 271 Caribbean hotels, 342 Mexican hotels and 223 Canadian hotels were evaluated for the 2014 rankings. Hotels named “Best” in their destination are typically the properties that have ranked the top 30 percent of U.S. News-evaluated properties in that region.
