Redken’s LFW FW 2014 Christopher Kane Recap

Redken Creative Consultant Guido left each models individual hair type and length au naturale in order to create an effortless quality to overall style. On dry hair, Guido applied shine flash 02 glistening mist as a texturizer to not only increase shine, but weight as well. Consequently, the style wasn’t too romantic or sophisticated, but rather undone and cool.

“I created a very simple style for Christopher Kane that uses natural textures and shine to convey an ease to the hair. Young designers tend to request undone hair in order to give the overall style an effortless quality. It is important to not force a look, so I don’t over bake an idea. If the designer wants ease, then the hairstyle is consequently a natural look with a few subtle tweaks. Create the Look:

1. Allow hair to dry naturally
2. Create a natural off center part
3. In order to maintain the natural texture, do not brush the hair
4. Section by section, apply shine flash 02 glistening mist
5. Spray forceful 23 super strength finishing spray to finish the look
