UNLV WOMEN’S BASKETBALL READY FOR ROAD TEST AT WYOMING

Lady Rebels looking for a third win in the last six years in Laramie

The UNLV women’s basketball team will be looking to snap its current two-game losing streak when it returns to action this weekend on the road Saturday afternoon with its lone meeting of the season with the Wyoming Cowgirls at 1 pm (PT). Wyoming is one of the two Mountain West members that the Lady Rebels play just once this season, the other being San Jose State, whom UNLV defeated 90-76 in Las Vegas on Jan. 29.

Though Colorado State has a two-game lead atop the league standings, only two games total separate the next six teams in the conference, with UNLV currently tied fourth at 6-4, half a game ahead of the 5-4 Cowgirls. Wyoming is 5-0 this season in the MW on its home court, while the Lady Rebels are one of three teams to have a winning road record in conference games at 3-2.

There will be live video of the game featured on the Mountain West Network at UNLVRebels.com. while the UNLV radio broadcast is available on KSHP 1400 AM and also off a link at UNLVRebels.com.
