IMAGINE DRAGONS CELEBRATED THEIR RECORD-BREAKING YEAR WITH A MEMORABILIA CASE DEDICATION AT HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO ON MONDAY, DEC. 30
Imagine Dragons with special guests The Mowgli’s and Parade of Lights returned to their hometown of Las Vegas for a sold out show at The Joint the same evening
Las Vegas’ hometown rockers and GRAMMY-nominated Imagine Dragons proved that 2013 was the year of the dragons as they commemorated their breakout year by unveiling their first-ever memorabilia case inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on Monday, Dec. 30.
Bobby Reynolds, vice president of booking for AEG Live Las Vegas, and Chas Smith, vice president of entertainment for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, were on hand to congratulate the band on their record-breaking year and welcome the musicians back to their hometown. Before addressing a crowd of adoring fans, Imagine Dragons band members Dan Reynolds, Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman and Wayne Sermon ripped off the covered case to reveal a full display of signature memorabilia from the band’s career. After, Dan Reynolds took the microphone to thank Hard Rock Hotel and fans for their support.
The special display, located right inside of the property from the main valet, features iconic items from the band’s music video “On Top of the World” including all four custom-made astronaut suits, an American flag, an Earth decorated beach ball, a small satellite dish and more. In addition, the case will be home to the rope that lead singer Dan Reynolds used to fly over the audience during Imagine Dragons’ sold-out February 2013 show at The Joint as well as an autographed copy of the property’s in-room Hard Rock Hotel Magazine, featuring the band on the cover.
The same evening, Imagine Dragons said goodbye to the final days of 2013 with a special sold out performance inside The Joint. The Las Vegas-based rockers were joined by special guests The Mowgli’s and Parade of Lights. Following, Dan Reynolds performed a DJ set inside Body English Nightclub & Afterhours.
