The casino, with 110 additional guest rooms opening spring of 2014, hosts five restaurants, more than 1,000 of the newest real and video slot machines, exciting table games, poker and keno – as well as 12,000 square feet of meeting and conference space, and 90 deluxe rooms and suites. Hansen will manage group sales for the casino destination that opened in May of 2013, and monitor client relationships for conference needs.

Hansen’s most recent role was director of sales and marketing at the Shoshone-Bannock Hotel in Fort Hall, Idaho. There, she fulfilled various Snake River Valley conferences, meetings, trade shows, weddings, and parties in the 15,000 square feet of meeting space. Hansen brings with her a variety of restaurant management and catering operational experience, including executive director of O’Callahan’s of Idaho.

Hansen is a graduate of University of Texas, with a degree in business.

Shawn McDaniel, general manager at Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort said, “We are truly fortunate to have a meetings and destination professional of Kristi’s caliber join our operations team.  She will create new opportunities and increase travel to our regional destination.”
