VIRGEN NAMES NEW CREATIVE DIRECTOR

VIRGEN Inc., a full-service strategic marketing, public relations and creative arts firm, has appointed James Russell as Creative Director.

With more than 14 years of experience in graphic and web design, Russell will oversee the art department and perform a lead role in the design process at VIRGEN.

Russell’s desire to create intuitive marketing campaigns began in college, where he specialized in photography, quickly realizing that art was his ultimate passion. From there, what began as a dream to become a comic book artist eventually gave way to a successful graphic and web design career. Russell  began his career at VIRGEN Advertising, playing integral roles crafting creative and intuitive marketing campaigns for well-known brands like MGM Grand and United Healthcare among many others.

James rejoins VIRGEN after three years in the franchise space with Greenbaum, where he led major accounts like Hertz, ARCO ampm and Direct Energy. James also draws from experience with online and web based creative, making him an invaluable asset for countless high-end media campaigns.  Over the years, Russell has accumulated numerous advertising awards showcasing his ability to achieve creative excellence on the web.
