Stratosphere Offering Special Menu Items
To Celebrate Thanksgiving Day
The Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower is offering guests a variety of Thanksgiving dining experiences on Thursday, November 28, 2013, including a four-course dinner at the award-winning revolving Top of the World Restaurant, as well as special Thanksgiving menus at McCall’s Heartland Grill, Roxy’s Diner, and The Buffet at Stratosphere.
“Thanksgiving is about two things, family and food,” said Stratosphere Executive Chef Rick Giffen. “We’ve planned some incredible menus at all our restaurants that will offer something for all kinds of diners, whether they’re seeking a traditional meal, or something a little different.”
Top of the World Restaurant
Thanksgiving at Top of the World Restaurant will offer guests an elegant Thanksgiving four course dinner starting with your choice of Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with Pumpkin Seed Pesto and Chestnut Espuma or Field Greens and Root Vegetable Salad with blood orange segments, Italian white truffle oil essence, and dried Blueberries topped with Apple Cider Vinaigrette with Roasted Shallots.
Appetizer choices include Roasted Lamb Chop with Dijon Mustard and Pistachio Crust served with Couscous Caponata and Demi-Glace, or Lobster Ravioli and Ricotta Lobster Mousse served with Herb Fennel Nage. Guests will also enjoy the entrée Roasted Free Range Organic Turkey with Natural Jus served with Yukon Gold Potato with Crème Fraîche, Haricots Verts, Chicken and Apple Sausage Stuffing with Cranberry and Roasted Granny Smith Apple, and Cranberry Sauce with Ginger and Orange.
Dessert includes Banana and Chocolate Bread Pudding with Pumpkin Ice Cream, Caramel Sauce and Candied Pecans.
$78 per person. Thanksgiving Special is served from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

McCall’s Heartland Grill
Thanksgiving Day dining at McCall’s Heartland Grill will feature a three course meal that begins with an Organic Frisée Salad served with Gruyere Cheese, Dried Cranberries, Candied Pecans, and Champagne Vinaigrette. The main course offers a Braised Turkey Osso Bucco with ranch-style Whipped Potatoes, Portuguese Sausage Jalapeño Stuffing, Brown Buttered Green Beans, and Black Currant Orange Chutney. For dessert, enjoy Pumpkin Pistachio Upside-Down Cake with Dulce de Leche

Regular McCall’s menu items will also be available. McCall’s Heartland Grill is open 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
McCall’s Heartland Grill, rated #1 for Comfort Food by Where Quick Guide, is an original concept grill restaurant offering hearty Midwestern-style steaks, fresh coastal seafood and an array of creative comfort food served in a sleek yet cozy “cowboy chic” atmosphere. Since opening in October 2012, McCall’s Heartland Grill has quickly become a local and guest favorite for its creative yet affordable cuisine. The restaurant is located just off the casino floor.
Roxy’s Diner
Roxy’s will feature a traditional Thanksgiving dinner that includes Oven Roasted Tom Turkey with Traditional Stuffing, Candied Yams, Sautéed Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes and Giblet Gravy. For dessert enjoy House-made Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream.
$12.95 per person. Dinner is served 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Regular menu items will also be available.
Roxy’s Diner is a 50s diner with a twist that serves a wide selection of mouthwatering burgers, sandwiches and shakes with a singing wait staff.
The Buffet at Stratosphere
For those seeking an endless selection of Thanksgiving favorites, The Buffet at Stratosphere will not disappoint. Featured items will include Herb Crusted Prime Rib of Beef, Chili Lime Roasted Tom Turkey, Drambuie Glazed Ham, Jalapeño Portuguese Sausage Corn Bread Stuffing, Buttermilk Grilled Pork Chops with Granny Smith Green Apple Salsa, Lamb Osso Bucco, Country Whipped Potatoes and Giblet Gravy, Smoked Bacon and Gorgonzola Cream Corn, Kahlua Baked Yams, Rosemary Roasted Leg of Lamb with Red Wine Sauce, Sautéed Green Beans and Pearl Onions with Brown Butter, Herb Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Blackened Atlantic Salmon with Pineapple Salsa, Pumpkin Roasted Garlic Bisque, Peel & Eat Shrimp with traditional condiments, Grapefruit Waldorf Salad, and assorted Holiday Pastries.
