REHAB, LAS VEGAS’ ORIGINAL DAYCLUB, CONCLUDES MEMORABLE 10TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON WITH AWARD-WINNING ARTIST SEAN KINGSTON, OCT. 13

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas’ tropical oasis hosted extraordinary parties and helped raise money for local nonprofits this summer

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas completed another successful summer with REHAB’s ultimate end-of-the-season bash hosted by international superstar Sean Kingston on Sunday, Oct. 13. The celebration signified the end of a decade of decadence at Las Vegas’ original dayclub as well as the end of the property’s thriving pool season, filled with unforgettable performances, celebrity guests and more.

On Sunday, the party kicked off at REHAB when Kingston took over the poolside stage. Partygoers went wild during the reggae-infused rapper’s crowd-pleasing show, singing and dancing to his popular hits “Letting Go (Dutty Love),” “Fire Burning,” “Beat It” and more. Kingston’s performance marked the official end of the dayclub’s explosive 10th anniversary season.

Since opening in 2004, REHAB has checked in more than 725,000 patrons, sold more than 2 million beers and cocktails, and 45,000 bottles of champagne, vodka, etc. The dayclub was featured on “21 Sexiest Beach Bars” calling it “the must-see place on a Sunday afternoon” as well as deemed as the “best known, biggest and craziest pool party” by the Los Angeles Times. This summer, REHAB held performances by Tommy Lee with DJ Aero, French electronic music duo Justice, reggae group Sublime with Rome, rock band 311, British DJ Fatboy Slim, entertainment mogul Diddy, DJ Grandmaster Flash, multi-platinum-selling artist Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion, music luminary Nelly, the “King of R&B” R. Kelly, and many more. Among the many celebrities spotted partying at the lavish pool scene were Young Money Entertainment Founder Lil Wayne, rapper Tyga, recording artist Pusha T and professional boxer Adrien Broner.

In addition, Hard Rock Hotel also held its first-ever REHAB Bikini Invitational 2013 this summer. The five-week contest consisted of multiple rounds of the nation’s hottest girls competing to be chosen for REHAB’s Bikini Team 2014. Throughout the invitational, celebrities Joanna Krupa of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Miami” and Jennifer “JWoww” Farley of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” and “Snooki & JWoww” assisted with hosting duties while hanging out poolside, showing off their own bikini-clad bods.

Finally, the end of the pool season also signifies the end of the resort’s inaugural Pay It Forward Fridays. Pay It Forward Fridays was an initiative that invited locals and nonprofit advocates to relax at the property’s poolside tropical oasis while supporting a good cause. From Friday, May 31 to Friday, Aug. 30, designated charities sold cabanas priced at $100 while receiving 100 percent of the proceeds.

Benefitting nonprofits included Stomach Cancer Relief Network Inc.; Aid For AIDS of Nevada (AFAN); Lied Discovery Children’s Museum’s Links For Life Foundation; Noah’s Animal House; Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas; Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation; Girls on the Run of Las Vegas; Golden Rainbow; Families for Effective Autism Treatment; Communities In Schools Nevada; American Red Cross; Injured Police Officers Fund; HELP of Southern Nevada; and Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
