Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino celebrates Its First Year of Unparalleled Entertainment with Rock Legend Courtney Love, Aug. 22
Rock ‘n’ roll songstress Courtney Love took the stage at Vinyl in Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to kick off the venue’s weekend-long anniversary celebration on Thursday, Aug. 22.
Before Love’s unforgettable performance, she posed for photos in front of a step and repeat with a vinyl record-shaped cake to commemorate the venue’s one year anniversary. Then, the artist hit the stage and played an incredible set to hundreds of loyal fans featuring her vocals and guitar skills as well as a couple wardrobe changes. The crowd of revelers included world-famous DJ/producer Tiësto, Guns ‘N Roses guitarist DJ Ashba and adult film star Ron Jeremy. Fans went wild as she sang several of her popular hits including “Violet,” “Miss World,” “Jennifer’s Body” and many more. Following the performance, Love came back on stage for an explosive encore ending the night with “Northern Star,” “Dying” and finally “Doll Parts.” Love will continue to rock with an additional performance tonight at Vinyl.
Since opening in August 2012, Vinyl has been an entertainment pioneer in Las Vegas. Emulating a speakeasy atmosphere, Vinyl’s multi-functional room allows bands and performers to come within arm’s reach of their loyal supporters. In the past year, a variety of local and legendary acts have graced the stage such as Sammy Hagar, Switchfoot, Blue October, Yellowcard, Chevelle, Vintage Trouble, Rival Sons, Band of Skulls and more.
