Third Eye Blind
Since 1997, San Francisco’s Third Eye Blind have recorded three best-selling albums and assembled one career retrospective. The band’s first album, Third Eye Blind, was released in 1997 and spawned five singles, including “Semi-Charmed Life” which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was number 1 on the Modern Rock Tracks for eight weeks. It also earned Third Eye Blind a Billboard Music Award for modern rock track of the year. Other singles, “How’s It Going To Be” and “Jumper,” kept the album on the Billboard Top 200 for over a year. In 1999 the band released their second album, Blue, that generated four singles and sold over million copies. Third Eye Blind took a break during the early 2000s, but returned in fall 2009 when they released their fourth studio album, Ursa Major. Led by Stephan Jenkins, Third Eye Blind now write, tour, record, and communicate in a fluid new world where their music continues naturally to evolve. Their exchange with their audience is unfiltered.
