GILLEY’S AT TREASURE ISLAND HOSTS “BOOT SCOOTIN’ BENEFIT” FOR HELP OF SOUTHERN NEVADA AUG. 17

Dancing marathon features prizes, specials and mechanical bull riding

 

Glide on over to Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que at Treasure Island for HELP of Southern Nevada’s “Boot Scootin’ Benefit” on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 1 to 5 p.m.

The afternoon will feature a dancing marathon with registration beginning at noon. Teams of up to four are required to have one person dancing at all times and instructors will be on-hand to assist dancers. Prizes will be awarded to the best dancing team, worst dancing team and best dressed team. Specials will be available to all teams including two-for-one deals on draft beers and cocktails and five dollar appetizers such as Texas Nachos Grande, Buffalo Chicken Wings, BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders, Onion Rings and Southern Style Chicken Tenders. Dancers can also test their strength on the mechanical bull for $10, $5 of which will be donated to HELP of Southern Nevada.

Tickets to Boot Scootin’ Benefit are $25 per teammate and include two raffle tickets. Guests may register at the door and in advance by contacting Abby Quinn at [email protected] or 702-836-2130. The event is open to ages 12 and older.
